The company\u2019s current activities include providing terminal and tank storage services, port operations, marine bunkering, and trading of oil and gas products in the Assaluyeh area. Thanks to the strategic location of its storage terminal in the backshore area of the port, and its minimal distance from the berths, the company benefits from unique infrastructure and facilities that enable efficient tanker unloading, direct transfer of products to berths, storage of various oil and petrochemical products close to loading docks, accommodation of both small and large vessels (up to 120,000 tons), and the facilitation of exports, bunkering, and transit operations within the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.<\/p><p>Following the completion of the first development phase in 2014, which marked the start of operations for the storage tanks, facilities, and a portion of the port infrastructure, Farasakou Assaluyeh gained significant operational capacity. After the completion and commissioning of the second phase in late 2015, the port evolved into one of the largest specialized private-sector terminals for oil products in the country. At present, Farasakou Company is pursuing the third phase of development (the Comprehensive Port and Terminal Development Plan) aimed at increasing the port\u2019s efficiency and capacity. Upon the implementation of this plan, the port will achieve an annual handling capacity of 18 million tons and a terminal storage capacity of approximately 1.1 million cubic meters onshore.
